The Order of the Friends of Jeshua Community was created to offer support to those who continually seek to embody the Christ Message of Love, Forgiveness, Compassion, Oneness, and Peace.

OFJ is not interested in creating yet another worldly structure which could, by its very nature, set itself apart and seeks not to focus on the personhood of Jeshua, but to share in the Divine Realization that He came to share with
us, which is that we are all created in the image and likeness of God and that the Kingdom of God is NOW.

Bishop Lee Allen Petersen, OFJ, worked n the fields of business and politics prior to entering the seminary. His primary studies were in Sacred Theology, both parochial and mystical, which included studies of Russian Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Liberal Catholic Traditions. Bishop Lee became a Monk of the Community of St. Francis in 1989, was ordained a Priest in 1992, and was consecrated Bishop in 1998 in the Apostolic Succession of the Old/Independent Catholic Tradition.

Bishop Lee recognizes the validity of all faith traditions and has studies and worked with Eastern Spiritual Traditions, Gnostic Traditions, Native American Spirituality, Meditation, as well as several different modalities of energy healing, such as Reiki. He has been a guest speaker at many churches in Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina.

His passion is to bring to light the purity of the original teachings of Jeshua (Jesus) and heal personal and religious misperceptions. He is a man with an enormous heart of joy who truly embodies the Christ Teachings.

He is Spiritual Mentor for The Order of the Friends of Jeshua and Presiding Bishop of the Free Apostolic Communion of Christ Consciousness.
